A new Harris poll has found that, amidst the crisis, the American public’s attitude towards China has turned from frosty to outright hostile. 77 percent of the country blames China for the outbreak, with 54 percent stating that it owes the U.S. reparations for being the epicenter of the outbreak.
American polling firm Gallup has found that Afghans are the saddest people on earth, finding that nearly nine in ten respondents are “suffering,” in their own words, with zero percent claiming that they are currently “thriving.” When asked to rate their life out of a score of ten, Afghans gave an average answer of 2.7, a record low for any country studied. Worse still, when asked to predict the quality of their life in five years, the average answer was even lower: 2.3.
A poll published last week by the Pew Research Center shows that 56 percent of Mexicans view the United States as the greatest threat to their country. Russia and China came an extremely distant second and third, with six and five percent respectively. Thus, of the 195 states recognized by the United Nations, most Mexicans identified just one as a real danger.

Starting in 2015, Gallup has asked over 133,000 people around the world the following 3 questions, to score (from 0 to 100) and rank nations on “Law and Order” — and they issued their first, the “2016 Global Law and Order” report, on this basis:

Last week, the United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to condemn the US embargo against Cuba. A total of 189 member-nations said Cuba did not deserve this embargo, which began in 1961 and has continued unabated to this day. Only two countries – the United States and Israel – voted against the motion. No country abstained.
A majority of Democrats want a third major political party to be formed in America. An overwhelming majority of independents do. But only 38% of Republicans do. That’s according to Gallup’s October 26th article “Majority in US Still Say a Third Party Is Needed”.
