Texas Atty General Paxton Wins Impeachment Fight, But Still Faces State Felony Charges

The Texas Senate voted to acquit Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton on 16 articles of impeachment, including bribery, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and abuse of the public trust. The charges centered on Paxton's relationship with a wealthy donor who made a $25,000 political donation to Paxton in October 2018.
