I recently opined in an interview that my analysis of the alteration of western thought’s views about essence/ousia, matter and form, should be focused on in the difference in Plato and Aristotle. Eastern theologian and philosopher Dr. Philip Sherrard made this point when elucidating the transition from Platonic conceptions of methexis to Aristotelian hylomorphism.
