The Pharmaceutical CIA: How Sewage and Pollution Became Treatable Diseases

Waste from industrialized pig farms are kept in open-air pits called lagoons and farmers spray it on their crops as fertilizer. Hogs produce ten times the fecal waste by weight as humans. Industrialized pig farms should have their own sewage treatment plants, but the cost would be so high that pork would be priced out of the market. The CDC has become a front for the pharmaceutical cartel and blames filth-related diseases on 'newly discovered viruses', and then invents toxic vaccines supposedly to combat the viruses.

Scientist Create Human-Pig Embyros to Help Provide Organ Transplants

In the U.S., 77,500 people are on the organ transplant waiting list. Every 10 minutes, someone is added to that list. On average, 22 people die each day awaiting a transplant. The numbers certainly are discouraging. To try and tackle the problem, scientists at UC Davis have developed embryos that are part human and part pig, and are implanting them in sows. [1] [2]

Major Meat Company Goes Antibiotic-Free After Charged with 33 Counts of Animal Cruelty

Largely in response to consumer demand, Tyson will be sourcing their pork meat from pigs raised without antibiotics. This could mean, by default, that Tyson’s pigs will be treated better. We shall see. [1]
This is a new trend, it seems, since just last year mega-companies like McDonald’s promised to move away from chicken raised with antibiotics, and would only use cage-free eggs.

Are Genetically Modified Pigs up Next for Approval by the FDA?

The US Food and Drug Administration approved the nation’s first genetically modified animal in 2015 – GMO salmon – and scientists can’t wait to add more to the batch. Head of development biology at the University of Edinburgh’s Roslin Institute, Professor Bruce Whitelaw has produced swine fever-resistant pigs through a new gene-editing technique. Yeah, he wants to see them also approved by the FDA. [1]
Whitelaw says that much more work is required to refine what he calls a ‘precise’ process.

GMO Bacon? ‘Genetically Modified’ Pigs on the Horizon

Are you ready for modern-made ‘GMO’ bacon? With the near-future possibility of gene-modified pigs coming to your local grocery store, this may be yet another biotech reality.
Molecular biologist Jin-Soo Kim at Seoul National University showed off pictures of hogs in the publication Nature just weeks ago. These genetically modified pigs were made to have bizarrely large backsides, considered the most edible part of the pig.

The Hunter becomes the Hunted: When Pigs Attack Back (Videos)

This was shared with me and was just too good to not pass along to you! Sometimes the hunter gets way too close to his prey. And though you will probably find both of these videos funny, both showed irresponsible, foolish hunters getting themselves into very dangerous, potentially deadly situations. Hogs can be very temperamental…
