Now let us turn our attention towards the inner meaning of a sharing economy, bearing in mind that we cannot propose a glossary definition from a spiritual or psychological perspective, for the meaning of sharing stems from the heart and not from intellectual activity alone. Even at the lowermost understanding of sharing on a personal and local level as briefly discussed heretofore, we are unlikely to comprehend the real significance of its potential until our thoughts are directed by the heart at all times.
Pearse invited Aaron and myself onto his show on the evening of the Presidential election. I, for one, welcome our new Orange Overlord but when we taped this the result was not yet known. This conversation got a bit abstract as we didn't discuss the candidates much at all, but instead had a good time looking into some of the weirder elements of the run-up to the election and the broader social trends around our current political dialogue.

I would like to make a plea for irrelevant education, one that does not begin with a presumption of what is relevant – the thing most needful, as Strauss would put it – and what is not.

The Department of Energy has a minor but interesting role in the history of Hollywood, providing shooting locations for Tron (1982) and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
