With Minority Report and A.I., Stephen Spielberg presents two visions of the future of techno-consciousness. Jay Dyer and Jay Weidner analyze the augmentation of consciousness through technology as self-awakening awareness and psychic surveillance. Though these are fanciful tales of a somewhat idyllic future, hidden within the details are subtle hints of the future to come. We learn of technology which has already become an accepted part of our current culture and advances yet to come. This presentation was originally webcast October 9, 2017.

The book of Ecclesiastes tells us, ‘The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.’ Even the idea that there is nothing new is thousands of years old. This week we’re going to look at why Hollywood appears to have run out of ideas despite being one of the most innovative places on earth.

The Blade Runner sequel fully vindicates my analysis of the original Blade Runner. In this video I cover the main themes and messages as well as the many Edenic and biblical references. In the sequel, the biblical narratives of Rachael, Moses, the Serpent and the Christ are reversed or inverted to a blatantly revolutionary illuminist narrative.

Ridley Scott revives film noir into the sci fi genre, with Blade Runner, bringing us a tale of technocratic dominance vs. transhumanism. Jay Dyer and Jay Weidner unveil of a world where corporate globalism has run rampant, giving rise to a synthetic dystopia. Simulated perfection in this purgatory is found with Replicants – artificially intelligent beings seeking to transcend limitations imposed upon them. In the end, throughout all the turmoil, these synthetic humans may herald a new expression of humanity and benevolence. This presentation was originally webcast October 2, 2017.

All it takes for a society to express fear, paranoia, confusion, and a sort of mad country (riffing on mad cow disease, bovine spongiform encephalopathy) mental disease is a toxic brew of narcissism, propaganda, amnesia, planned and perceived obsolescence and a transnational economic barbarism against the collective masses, and we end up here:

Based on the chapter in my best selling book with new information and analysis, I decode the highly philosophical and esoteric 1982 film from Ridley Scott. Blade Runner is not only important for its predictive programming, but also for its alchemical and gnostic themes, as found in the rest of Dick’s novels.

A reply to various so-called Orthodox and Roman Catholic apologist attempts to reply to my essay. Ultimately these attempts fail because they do not understand hypostatic properties and the orthodox distinctions of will, nature, person and operation. As a result, both faux “Orthodox” and Roman Catholics congeal into a mass lump of heretical perennialism, as generic as their generic theism.
