The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just approved a drug created by a 3D printer, in what is believed to be a first for the agency. The drug, Spritam, is made by Aprecia Pharmaceuticals and treats seizures. The medication is expected to reach the market in the first quarter of 2016. [1]

Despite the fact that a CDC whistleblower recently came forward admitting that the government agency obfuscated evidence linking vaccines to autistic behavior, California lawmakers passed a mandatory vaccine bill (SB277) which removes parental exemptions – making it so parents couldn’t refuse or delay vaccines.
Pharmaceutical mammoth Pfizer faces more than 1,000 lawsuits from victims who say that the company knew about the relationship between birth defects and their #1 best-selling anti-depressant. A claim that Pfizer has, of course, battled against.
Perhaps you’ve heard of America’s most prescribed drug? It is in a class called statins and goes by the name of Crestor (rosuvastatin). It is marketed with the intent to ‘treat’ high cholesterol, and heart disease, but its effectiveness is deeply in question. It certainly doesn’t warrant the $5.8 billion in sales just in America annually, nor the $8.2 billion in revenues worldwide.
So how did this pharmaceutical drug made by AstraZeneca get so popular?
It used to be that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Times have certainly changed; now (for decades, actually) the physicians across America have new guidance for adults. More than half are on a daily dosage of low-dose aspirin in order to address various life-threatening illnesses and/or diseases.
Americans spent more last year on pharmaceutical drugs than the entire military defense budget of China, Russia, and the UK combined. A total of $374 billion to be specific.
There’s a crisis in New York City. Scanning the media headlines, we read one of the larger titles of the week, in which The Independent states “Heroin is responsible for more deaths than homicide in New York City.”
A comparison. The mainstream media report on stories, detailing specific facts, and then ignore the skepticism that reading their stories would inspire! They don’t even follow up on facts they report. They ignore their own stories. Let that sink in as I provided this comparison.

A monumental ethical issue is hovering over the entire medical establishment in the United States that threatens its integrity and trust. The human element is being removed from the equation, replaced by computers to give us our options, and legislation to remove our choice in medical care. Somewhere in the shuffle, the individual’s informed consent was broken down, lost in the paperwork, and made irrelevant.
