Last week, the jury awarded $11.2 million in damages to Gibson's Bakery, and on Thursday, the jury awarded the plaintiffs an additional $22 million in punitive damages, which is the maximum allowed. Gibson's attorney said that this case is a tipping point that will affect the policies of all colleges.
