Sheriff Adam Fortney is facing a recall after saying he would not enforce lockdown orders. Ironically, Governor Inslee's lockdown order cannot be enforced without violating the WA state constitution. Lori Shavlik filed a recall petition, but must gather 42,000 signatures and will hire professionals run the recall.

Officer Greg Anderson warned other officers about violating citizens' Constitutional rights because it undermines public trust. He said that police derive their power from the people. He implored officers to stand up for what is right, even if it costs them their jobs.

Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says he will not enforce shutdown and shat-at-home orders because state law “does not have the power to supersede or suspend the Constitutional rights of American citizens.”
