Nikki Haley

President of the United States Nikki Haley–it could happen

American politics is always big on ‘firsts’. The proverbial political debut is often more important than one’s actual policies.
–JFK was the first Catholic POTUS
–Ronald Reagan the first Hollywood actor POTUS
–Barack Obama the first black POTUS
–Donald Trump is the first reality TV/apolitical POTUS
Indeed, the main thrust of Hillary Clinton’s campaign was that she would be the first female POTUS. Since that wasn’t enough to convince most voters, this is a ‘first’ that is still very much up for grabs.

Tillerson puts Nikki Haley in her place. Tells her to clear comments with State Department

Rex Tillerson, the US Secretary of State, who has this month started to find his feet as the US’s foreign minister, has finally acted to assert his authority over Nikki Haley, the US’s out of control UN ambassador.
It has become increasingly clear over the last few weeks that Nikki Haley, who is a politician with Presidential ambitions not a diplomat, has been abusing her position as the US’s UN ambassador to grandstand in preparation for what I am sure is an intended Presidential bid.

Trump’s Bluff or The Madness of The Apprentice: 100 Senators prepare for North Korea briefing

Tomorrow’s White House meeting between Donald Trump, Rex Tillerson, James ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis and all 100 Senators could just be the biggest bluff of his Presidency and indeed the biggest bluff of recent US history. Of course it might not be. Both scenarios must be considered even though I lean heavily towards the ‘bluff’ theory.
I wish there was a better phrase for what I imagine this to be than a ‘made for TV Presidency’, but alas that is what it feels like.

Human Rights and the Arrogance of Power

By Brian CLOUGHLEY | Strategic Culture Foundation | 24.04.2017 International policy statements sometimes attract attention because they deal with serious matters, such as human rights, concerning which an important speech was made to the UN Security Council on April 18 by US Ambassador Nikki Haley. Ambassador Haley declared that «When a state begins to systematically violate human […]

Ambassador Nikki Haley says US will not ignore unverified reports Chechnya is persecuting “suspected” gay men

Has Nikki Haley never heard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
The propaganda war against Russia continues, and what better way to poison western minds against Putin and Russia than to play the LGBT persecution card.
America’s Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power Nikki Haley said the US will not ignore reports that authorities in the Russian republic of Chechnya are persecuting suspected gay men.

Russian and Syrian UN Envoys BLAST the US, Britain and France (VIDEO)

Russia has vetoed a UN Security Resolution jointly proposed by the US, UK and France. The resolution is a slightly revised version of the one proposed last week which essentially calls for an investigation into the infamous chemical weapons attack in Idlib Governorate, while  pre-assigning guilt to Syria, a party that by any objective means does not and could not bear responsibility for the attack.
