Watch: New York Sanitation Officers Search Through People’s Trash to Cite them for Recycling Improperly

A video posted to Facebook this week shows New York City sanitation officers playing a dirty trick on  residents in order to generate revenue.
Digging through their trash.
And then citing anyone who wasn’t “recycling properly”.
The video begins with a man video-recording as he approaches a female officer who is digging through a trash bag.
“Ma’am, can you tell me why you’re taking out garbage from people’s houses in order to give tickets?”
He then turns to a male officer.

NYPD Unlawfully Arrests Man for Vaping on Subway Platform, Again

The NYPD unlawfully arrests Shawn Randall Thomas at least a few times a year for recording and refusing to provide identification, including for using a vaporizer last year.
He’s never been convicted for a any of those crimes.
The New York man was arrested last week in the subway yet again, after a transit cop approached him, demanding his identification under the controversial “Stop and Frisk” law, but without articulating any reasonable suspicion that Thomas had committed an actual crime.

New York Man Confronts NYPD Cop for Reckless Driving, Almost Running Over Children

Recording with his phone, a New York man confronted an NYPD cop for reckless driving, accusing him of almost running over children as he drove on a sidewalk, speeding into an apartment complex.
The video was uploaded by YouTube on Friday, but was originally posted on Facebook by a man who goes by Gesus Silverware earlier that day.

NYPD Cop Shooting Dog Extended Video Emerges, They Beat Owner Too

PINAC’s national investigator Felipe Hemming, obtained the full-video of an NYPD cop shooting a tail-wagging dog when they arrived the wrong apartment after receiving a domestic violence call at another nearby apartment.
“He died wagging his tail,” Yvonna Rosado told New York Daily News.
Other media outlets edited out the time between Cuesta shooting the dog and Rosado tripping down the stairs.
But we think it’s important to see in order to understand the graphic nature and the actual scope of police abuse.

Judge Rules NYC Children Do NOT Need a Flu Shot for Preschools, Day Cares

A Manhattan judge has tossed out a New York City Health Department mandate that preschoolers must get flu shots.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Manuel Mendez called the requirement “invalid and unlawful” in his decision, adding that the city’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene “lacked the statutory authority” to mandate the vaccines because they are not required under state law.
