Linda Sarsour, the controversial Muslim activist and Women's March organizer, is accused of covering up the sexual assault of an underling and then bullying her into silence. Asmi Fathelbab worked as a contractor for Sarsour’s organization, the Arab American Association and reported that a man in the office pinned her against the wall and ​rubbed his crotch against her ​on ​numerous occasions. In response, ​Sarsour fat-shamed the woman on social media, and then had her​ blacklisted from political jobs in New York.

A Bangladesh-born Muslim man, Akayed Ullah, was arrested for trying to bomb the New York Port Authority building, but the device strapped to his body exploded prematurely and only injured him. There was panic in the tunnel, and three other people were injured. Ullah told authorities “They’ve been bombing in my country, and I wanted to do damage here." Ullah entered the US in 2011 as a foreign relative in the chain-migration program. Chain migration allows new immigrants to the U.S. to bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives with them.

Crime statistics show that 45% of people sent to prison for crime were foreign born, 82% of people sent to prison for gang-rape were foreign born, and 70% of those sentenced to a 9-year prison sentence were foreign born. The direct costs of immigrants’ crime is more than $2.4 billion US dollars per year. ​[Authorities seem much more concerned about the release of the statistics than they are about the statistics themselves.

The Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to enforce a ban on travel to the US by residents of six mostly Muslim countries - Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen - despite legal challenges in lower courts.
