Before the appointment of the Special Counsel on May 17th, the FBI had opened up an investigation into obstruction of justice. This shows that the deep state plotted against Trump and then lied about it to the President and Congress.

So, what did Russian people think of the RussiaGate investigation? Some of us here at The Duran live and work in Moscow, but we are usually Americans, and not Russians ourselves. This makes us able to listen and opine, but only as foreigners and not as people that are really, heart and soul, affected by the news and allegations that RussiaGate did to their country.
In other words, it ain’t personal for us, at least not in the same way.

Russiagate, the Establishment’s marquee conspiracy theory that Donald Trump somehow colluded with Vladimir Putin to hijack the 2016 US presidential elections, seemed like a narrative that was too big to fail. Only it did. But not before an untold amount of damage was done; to East-West relations, to trust in the US criminal justice system, and not least of all to the entire mainstream media.

So here it is: everything you wanted to know about #Russiagate but weren’t stupid enough to ask.

Civil war is not a reference taken rhetorically, nor is it made lightly. In fact, it is possible that it – or something like it – has drawn much closer to reality in the conclusion of the Russiagate investigation.

Russiagate is dead. Long live Russiagate.

She often represents what a true journalist can and should do: seek the truth of any story, make it clear and understandable without dumbing down, and report it. For her, news is that which people must have, simply because it is helpful information, and not politically calculated propaganda.

Presently there is a media blitz on across the American news media networks. As was the case with the Russiagate investigation while it was ongoing, the conclusions have merely given rise to a rather unpleasant afterbirth in some ways as all the parties involve pivot their narratives. The conclusion of Russiagate appears to be heavily covered, yet if statistics here at The Duran are any indication, there is a good possibility that the public is absolutely fatigued over this situation.
And, perhaps, folks, that is by design.
