Julian Assange’s attorney filed a new request Wednesday in Stockholm for Sweden to scrap the arrest warrant against the WikiLeaks founder, arguing that the order should be torn up and Assange allowed to live out his asylum in Ecuador in the face of Washington’s desire to arrest the whistleblower.

Back in November 2016 the Swedish prosecutor leading the investigation into the rape allegations against Julian Assange finally did what she had spent years refusing to do, which is have Assange questioned about the allegations in Britain, in fact in the place where he has been given asylum, which is the Ecuadorian embassy.

Julian Assange recently went on Ron Paul’s Liberty Report to defend himself against inaccurate statements from CIA director Mike Pompeo who said that Wikileaks is a non-state intelligence agency, when in fact Wikileaks is a publisher. The theory proliferated by Pompeo was legally discredited during the infamous Bradley Manning trial.

In a stunning new report, CNN has just revealed, according to anonymous sources at least, that US authorities have prepared charges and will seek the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for intelligence leaks dating all the way back to 2010.

Anonymous sources have told CNN that the United States Federal government plans to formally press charges against Julian Assange and ask for his arrest.
Because Julian Assange is not a US citizen, Trump appointed CIA director Mike Pompeo has said,

“Julian Assange has no First Amendment freedoms. He’s sitting in an Embassy in London. He’s not a US citizen”.
