Did Pompeo Go Off Reservation in Iraq Attack?

Authored by Tom Luongo via Gold, Goats, ‘n Guns blog:
I have to wonder who Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is actually loyal to. Because, the U.S. strike of Kata’ib Hizbullah forces near the Al Qaim border crossing with Syria in Iraq is a dangerous escalation there.
And it’s completely at odds with Trump’s goals of wanting us out of the Middle East. The Al Qaim border crossing is a particular red line for Israel and their allies in the U.S. State and Defense Departments.

From a Blessing to a Curse: How UN Resolution 2334 Accelerated Israel’s Colonization in the West Bank

Three years ago, the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2334. With fourteen members voting in favor and one abstention, the Resolution was the equivalent of a political earthquake. Indeed, it was the first time in many years that Israel was roundly condemned by the international body for its illegal settlement policies in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Operation Condor 2.0 Expanded

According to US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, the US will help “legitimate governments” in Latin America, in order to prevent protests from “morphing into riots”.
From what we are seeing this “legitimization” may be expanded to rest of the world. Because Washington-instigated destabilizing unrest goes on throughout the world. We may as well call it “Operation Condor 2.0 – Expanded”. It promises to become devastating, oppressive and murderous on all Continents. A transformation from whatever ‘freedom’ may have existed to neoliberal dictatorships bending towards neofascism.

Hebron Plan is Israel’s Reminder to Palestinians that Settler Power knows no Limits

US President Donald Trump told thousands of Israel’s supporters at a rally in Florida at the weekend that some American Jews “don’t love Israel enough”. It is certainly troubling that a US president insists a section of his country’s citizens – the Jewish population – be required to love a foreign state. But then Trump went further, muddying the waters about what constitutes “Israel”.

Netanyahu-Pompeo Meeting Solidifies War Plan on Iran

Ratcheting economic sanctions, military force encirclement, inciting seditious violence and relentless war rhetoric. This all by the US and its allies over the past year towards Iran, yet it is Iran which is portrayed as posing “potential threats” to American interests.
The hastily arranged meeting last week between Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had the hallmarks of a war-plan summit amid a peak in renewed media provocation against Iran.

Fuel price hike in Iran opens the door for regime change agents (Video)

The Duran’s Alex Christoforou and Editor-in-Chief Alexander Mercouris discuss the protests gripped Iran following a government-mandated fuel price increase of 50 percent and fuel rationing program introduced on November 15th. The decision to ramp up fuel prices was met with violent and large public protests, something the government in Tehran did not anticipate.

Trump Accepts Israeli ‘Realities on Ground’ – Realities Funded by His Administration

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo this week announced yet another radical shift in Washington’s policy towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, by way of saying that the United States “was accepting realities on the ground”.
What the mendacious and cynical Pompeo omits to add is that the Trump administration has been dramatically fueling the change in “realities” – specifically the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian territory and the demolition of Palestinian homes.

Pompeo: Israeli Settlements ‘Are Not Illegal’ Under International Law

In yet another move by the Trump Administration to dispose of international law, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reiterated his instructions from Tel Aviv, announcing that US will abandon its long-standing officially recognized position which had condemned Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank. Pompeo said that the US will no longer view Israeli settlements as ‘inconsistent with international law’.
