Christoph and I are back!  After a long hiatus we have returned with a jam packed episode.  In the first segment we discuss the bizarre “bomb plot” to attack the recent MEK Summit in Paris.  Then we explore the allegations that this was orchestrated by the Iranian government and the bogus claims by the West and Israel about a network of sleeper cells across Europe.  We then turn to a discussion about those swept up in the investigation–including an Iranian diplomat from Austria.

One of the more interesting stories from the controversial Turkish Presidential Powers referendum has been the reaction of the extreme-right to Erdogan’s consolidation of power.
Turkey’s traditional far-right Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has for years been something of a national embarrassment for Turkey. The party argues for an ethno-centric Turkish state and the party’s unofficial paramilitary wing, the Grey Wolves, have been responsible for the killings, detentions and abuse of opposition journalists, left-wing activists, Greek and Armenian minorities and Kurds.

As if it’s not discouraging news with allegations of President Erdogan’s recent referendum victory mired in fraud, as alleged by the opposition parties, it’s worrying to see the incumbent allied with a long established group that are known in Turkey for serious violence, attempted murder, drug smuggling, and most notably one of their members who tried to assassinate Pope John Paul II in 1981.

On this months episode Christoph and I take an in-depth look at the recent “Four Day War” between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Nagorno Karabhak region.  We discuss the causes for this latest outbreak of violence, and the various regional and global actors involved.  Christoph also breaks down the history of this long-forgotten,  frozen conflict.

This month Christoph and I recorded a special Newsbud related episode of PGG.  We focus mainly on Turkey’s increased intervention into the Syrian War.  We discuss Christoph’s recent article in Boiling Frogs Post  analyzing this very issue.  We begin with the increased Russian airstrikes and how this has completely changed the course of the war.  Christoph and I touch on how this is being interpreted by NATO and the US.  We next move on to Turkey’s reliance on Syrian Turkmen militants to fight their proxy battle.  Christoph and I update the listeners on the Grey Wolf “Turkmen” leader  Alpars

On this especially jam-packed episode, we being in Kyrgyzstan where the US Deep State continues to poke and prod the Central Asian nation.  We start off by looking at a recent video leaked to Kyrgyz media which shows protest organizer Nurbek Toktakunov meeting with noted “color revolution” expert and Charge d’Affaires of Kyrgyzstan, Richard Miles.  We also discuss the other bizarre events going on in Kyrgyzstan the past few months, including a series of mysterious messages posted on social media in the south talking about an Islamic takeover, and the supposed ISIS attack in Bishkek.  Later
