Next time the New York Times or Washington Post accuses Donald Trump of fear-mongering, here’s something to keep in mind: fear-mongering is a game that both Republicans and Democrats can play – and something that both sides do.

Media bias can be rather annoying. But on occasion, it can also be inadvertently amusing. And so it was that I had a little chuckle at an article in yesterday’s Independent, which described a clash between American and Russian troops in Syria. For this is what the Indy had to say:
Not surprisingly Barack Obama has risen from the murky grey realm of former U.S. Presidents to support his old right-hand man Joe Biden by emotionally criticizing Trump. The main theses of his arguments against The Donald are centered around his use of social and other media as the leader of the United States. He accuses Trump of turning his office into a “reality show” and that Trump needs to “show some interest in taking the job seriously”.
The New York Times is leading the full-court press to improve on what it regards as Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s weak-kneed effort to blame the Russians for giving us Donald Trump.

There is a misperception in western media that Alexander Lukashenko, president of Belarus, is Russian President Vladimir Putin’s man. That is not true; Putin views him as an exasperating and rather dim legacy. There is also a misperception in the West that Lukashenko really lost the recent election. That is not true. He almost certainly won, though the margin is much exaggerated by the official result.
Has anyone seen anywhere in the mainstream media a serious discussion of Israel’s possible role in the Beirut bombing? I am not suggested an evidence-free indictment of Israel but rather just a review of Israel’s possible motive and a consideration of its capability to carry out such an attack without having to directly do it itself with one of its bombs or missiles.

Now the madding crowd has moved on, I take a mature look at the report by the Intelligence and Security Committee on Russia. It is so flawed it is tempting simply to mock it. But in fact, it is extremely dangerous.
The CIA could never (and doesn’t) regulate every movie, video game and YouTube video. But influencing and observing certain VIPs is a much easier potential task. Watch the video and read more in the article by Wayne Maden.
They’ve done it via the ‘news’-media — their propaganda-operations. So, this is about how billionaires do that; how they’ve done it.
Twitter says it bans ads from state-affiliated media outlets. However, US government propaganda organs like Voice of America’s VOA Persian pay the social media corporation huge sums of money to spread disinformation against Iran and other foreign adversaries.
