Indonesia’s President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has declared an emboldened position on the nation’s war against drugs and related crime.
During a recent speech, Widodo stated,
“I have told you, just be firm, especially with foreign drug dealers who enter the country and resist. Gun them down. Give no mercy.
We are indeed in an emergency situation in dealing with drug trafficking”.
A new counter-terrorism report from the Indonesian Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict has investigated and confirmed claims that the ISIS insurgency in southern Philippines, particularly on the island of Mindanao is partly funded by ISIS syndicates in the Middle East, including and specifically in the illegally ISIS occupied regions of eastern Syria.
The funds are typically funnelled to South East Asia using conventional means such as Western Union.

Rodrigo Duterte is in the midst of waging total war against ISIS fighters in southern Philippines. It is a war that must be won and Duterte intends to win it. Here are some things that can and should be done to help hasten the victory and keep the people of Philippines safe.
1. Naval Blockade
The presence of ISIS in Philippines is generally confined to the southern island of Mindanao. It is there that ISIS have largely conquered the city of Marawi although the Philippine army continues to make important gains.
In the West, even among people who consider themselves not susceptible to government-corporate media propaganda, any wild story about North Korea can be taken as credible. We should ask ourselves why that is the case, given what we know about the history of government and media fabrications, often related to gaining our acquiescence to a new war.
