The Mainstream Media’s Shamefully Hypocritical Coverage of the Syrian War

(ANTIMEDIA Op-Ed) In October 2016, the Guardian ran an article entitled “Reality Check: are US-led airstrikes on Syrians as bad as Russia’s?” The article was a response to the suggestion of the British Labour party that there was too much focus on Russian atrocities in Syria and that this focus was detracting from other atrocities taking place, particularly from the U.S.-led coalition.

Mainstream Media Silent on Russia Acknowledgement that They Believe the US Will Carry Out Nuclear Strike

Viktor Poznihir, a high-ranking General in the Russian military, says Washington is preparing a nuclear first strike on Russia. The US also is seriously considering that Russia or China may resort to a first-strike nuclear attack on the US. If this continues, it cannot end well. The US media has ignored this story. US media’s latest fake news conspiracy theory: ONLY Russian journalists allowed at Trump-Lavrov meeting

Last month, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had a private meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. There were no photos of the event as it was a private meeting in every sense of the word. No one said anything at the time about this being unusual. People have private meetings all the time, whether it be a local businessman and his accountant or leaders of world powers.

WATCH: Donald Trump releases ad slamming fake news. CNN refuses to air it

Political advertisements are par for the course in most elections, but it is rare for a sitting President to put out an ad touting his accomplishments.
But this is exactly what Donald Trump has done to celebrate his first 100 days in office.
The advert is a fairly standard litany of President Trump’s official accomplishments, until he shows images of America’s most famous mainstream media reporters with the words ‘FAKE NEWS’ written across their faces.

Donald Trump in 100 Days

When it comes to doing interesting things in 100 days, Donald Trump falls far short of Napoleon. Between early March and late July of 1815, Napoleon mounted a return to France after his exile on the island of Elba, in an attempt to restore his rule and former glory.
It all came crashing down at the Battle of Waterloo, after which, Napoleon was permanently exiled to the island of Saint Helena.
The fact that Donald Trump’s first ‘100 days’ as POTUS is being discussed to death might be irksome to latent Bonapartists, but it is also becoming irksome to me.
