At a televised opening of a defense exhibition in central Kiev, Poroshenko stated:
We are now starting the armed technical modernization program of the army, we must bring our weapons to the level of the 21st century.

“The Ukrainian side continues to violate the Minsk agreements in respect of the placement of banned weapons. When one looks at the Western (and in particular the German) interpretation of news from Ukraine and Crimea, the impression is that journalists in modern Germany (and in the West in general) have an even more crooked psyche and conscience than journalists in the Hitler-dominated Nazi Third Reich.
While members of Russia’s Presidential administration and governing United Russia party have stated that Russia will remain committed to enforcing the MINSK II agreements and shall not make any moves to endorse the Malorossiya declaration, members of Russia’s leading opposition parties have taken decidedly different views.
Leonid Kalashnikov who is an increasingly prominent spokesman on foreign affairs for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) a successor to the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), spoke optimistically about the Malorossiya declaration.
The statement and accompanying document declaring the new state of Malorossiya appears to have been the brainchild of the leadership of the Donetsk People’s Republic, particularly Donetsk leader Alexander Zakharchenko. Insofar as this is the case, the leaders of the Lugansk People’s Republic as well as those in Moscow were not given any prior notice of the declaration.
Predictable condemnation of the declaration of the state of Malorossiya has come from EU states, the Kiev regime and even Russian officials. But on closer inspection, Malorossiya could be a win-win situation for Europe, Russia, the United States and for the people of Malorossiya.
Here’s why.
1. Malorossiya to remain sovereign from the Russian Federation
In 1667, the Treaty of Andrusovo affirmed Russian sovereignty over historic Russian lands that had been part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth since the 14th century. These areas were de-facto Russian ever since the Treaty of Pereyaslav, signed in 1654 as an alliance between local Cossacks and the government in Moscow.
The restoration of Russian lands was affirmed in the 1686 Treaty of Perpetual Peace.
A large explosion has been reported in central Lugansk. The blast came near Great Patriotic War Heroes Square in Lugansk city centre.
This comes little over a week since a large blast brought down a large portion of a university in central Donetsk.
Many fascists loyal to the Ukrainian regime have promised attacks against civilians in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics in recent months.
The regime in Kiev came to power illegally and governs in a manner that is totally unacceptable.The regime is guilty of mass murder, mass starvation and deprivation and multiple human rights violations.
If there was ever a regime in need of change, this is the one.
Here are the options.
1. The Security Council of the United Nations
The Russian Federation could and should table a UNSC resolution calling for the immediate withdraw of all troops, mercenaries and terrorists loyal to the Kiev regime from the Donbass region.
Igor Mosiychuk, a member of Ukraine’s Rada (parliament) from the fascist Radial Party has given a television interview where he confirmed what many in Donetsk have long held to be true, that Commander Arsen Pavlov known by his call-sign Motorola was assassinated in a terrorist style bombing on the orders of the Ukrainian regime.
