Facebook Adding 3,000 Workers To Monitor Crime And Suicide

Facebook’s latest response to the public outcry that resulted from the recent live streaming of a murder on the social network, was announced moments ago when on his personal blog, Mark Zuckerberg announced that over the next year, Facebook “will be adding 3,000 people — on top of the 4,500 we have today — to review the millions of reports we get every week and improve the process for doing it quickly.”

FBI agents in Texas ripped two cameras out of the hands of a PINAC reporter who was standing in front of a federal building legally recording from a public sidewalk Thursday, claiming they were in fear for their safety.
“I don’t want to be struck in the face,” said Keith A. Byers, an Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the El Paso FBI office at 660 South Mesa Hills Drive.
However, David Worden made no indication he would strike the agents in the face with his cameras.

A Tennessee deputy shot and killed a man who was live streaming to Facebook, after he had apparently already stopped his car, requesting to see “higher commands.”
He died soon thereafter.
“I would like to see higher commands, please,” Rodney James Hess, 36, tells an unidentified Crockett County deputy before the deputy begins bashing his windshield with a baton.
Startled, Hess appears to be driving away when the deputy shoots him.
He can be heard on video screaming from the shot.

VIDEO: Oregon Standoff Ends With FBI Arrest of Bundy & Six Others, One Dead (UPDATED II)

Oregon protesters occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge have been arrested after a firefight which left Oregon militiaman Lavoy Finicum dead.
Sources within the Oath Keepers organization claim that Finicum was surrendering peaceably to law enforcement when he was shot and killed, but there is no independent confirmation or video evidence of the ultimate showdown at this time.
