Breaking: North Dakota Governor Activates National Guard Against Pipeline Protest

(ANTIMEDIA) North Dakota — Previously peaceful protests at the construction site of the Dakota Access pipeline have officially been militarized. North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple has called on the state’s National Guard to reinforce law enforcement at the construction site where Native American protesters are currently blocking further development.

Native Protesters Proven Right: No Written Easement for Dakota Access Pipeline

(CCNIn the wake of hundreds of people continuously protesting beginning several weeks ago, Energy Transfer Partners, the company attempting to construct the Dakota Access Pipeline, stopped work at the building site just north of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.
The number of protesters has swelled to over 4000 as many tribes have united to protect the land and water from contamination.
