Juror Intimidation

All the jurors who ultimately ruled on the case were facing similar concerns of backlash, especially since leftist media had published their race, approximate ages, and their jobs. Judge Peter Cahill threatened twice to declare a mistrial but failed to follow through, perhaps due to fear also.

Floyd's autopsy showed that he had 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system. Fentanyl overdose causes slowed breathing and Floyd was complaining that he could not breathe long before he was held on the ground by officer Chauvin. The autopsy revealed no evidence that he died from asphyxiation.
