Trump is old and senile and doesn't understand the world around him. Yesterday, he said "If we stop testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any." If that's not enough to trigger the 25th Amendment, why did we even both to pass it? Maybe he should read John Pavlovitz's new post, You Know You Can’t Wish Away A Pandemic, Right?.
You don't need to watch this whole long video. I have it started at a spot that explains how China has been able to successfully reopen businesses. That's the part that's important to listen to. There is a difference between opening up willy-nilly (the Texas and Florida model) and opening up safely (the China model). I left in a short intro by Chris Martenson, but the stuff about the epidemic prevention measures by the guy in the red shirt with the British or Australian accent-- at around the 7 minute mark-- is what we need to hear.

Trumpists are on the march. Members of the GOP Death Cult have been holding noisy organized protests in Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Kentucky, demanding businesses be opened so they get to escape their horrid spouses and get back to their dull, unfulfilling meaningless jobs.
It's bad in New York right now-- at least in part because of Andrew Cuomo's reactionary stance on healthcare. (Gee, if you watched Rachel Maddow, a thorough imbecile on anything out than Putin-Gate, you would have thought Cuomo is a national hero who should be the Democratic nominee, but... she lives in Boston so... yeah.) Anyway, Cuomo is a skillful politician with a knack for doing what American politicians must be able to do to survive-- making himself look good on TV.
A new poll by Morning Consult released this morning, indicates that a huge majority of Americans support a national quarantine. There is a shocking disparity though, between Republicans and normal people on what kind of a job Trump is doing in responding to the pandemic.
