Talking about his discussions with Biden, Bernie said that Biden's "people are very smart and they understand that in order to beat somebody like Trump they're going to have to generate a lot of excitement, a lot of energy and reach out to people who have not necessarily been all that supportive of the vice president.

He wrote that Bernie's "entry into the 2020 race amounts to a big stone in a lake: It will generate ripples that touch every other candidate. Adam Jarchow in a deep red state Senate district was a "wake up call" for the GOP. And he's now figured out how to answer that call. He's refusing to allow special elections to fill vacant seats in the state legislature.
