Putin Is Probably Worse Than Kushner-in-Law

People who let what Trump says guide their behavior are all going to get sick. Some will die unnecessarily. My favorite line from the talking orangutan yesterday was "Our country wasn’t built to be shut down." I wonder if he came up with it all on his own or if the world's most celebrated epidemiologist, Jared Kushner-- whose father bought him an acceptance to Harvard-- helped him with it. Kushner is certainly helping him counter all that scientific stuff hates so much that he is being force-fed by medical professionals invading his tiny mind.
Covid-19 might be decimating the economy and threatening to kill millions of Americans, but in crisis there is opportunity. Opportunity, specifically for Joshua Kushner, brother of Jared, son-in-law and senior advisor to President Donald Trump. Joshua is the co-founder of Oscar Health, a huge medical company that this week launched a test center locator for COVID-19, where users input their data and are directed to one of many locations where they can receive a test.
It's no secret that Kushner's crooked father blatantly bought him a Harvard acceptance. But Trump-- whose family bought him an acceptance to Wharton-- still treated him like "a Harvard genius." But Kushner is a moron and has given Trump bad advice on everything he's touched-- including the pandemic.
The NY Times reported yesterday that between "160 million and 214 million people in the U.S. could be infected over the course of the epidemic [and] as many as 200,000 to 1.7 million people could die." The U.S. has 925,000 hospital beds but between 2.4 million and 21 million Americans could require hospitalization. The solution? Jared Kushner? It could be worse...

President Trump has made good on his campaign promises to redefine America’s relationship with the rest of the world — for better or for worse — and the United Nations has in many ways been the epicenter of his “American First” policy abroad.

The bestselling Homewreckers: How a Gang of Wall Street Kingpins, Hedge Fund Magnates, Crooked Banks, and Vulture Capitalists Suckered Millions Out of Their Homes and Demolished the American Dream is more than a must read, it is a have to immediately read! Glantz covers the beginnings and the rash aftermath of the 2008 Subprime Housing bubble.
A negotiated solution to the ‘Palestinian-Israeli conflict’, at least the way envisaged by successive US administrations, has failed. Now, Palestinians and their allies would have to explore a whole new path of liberation that does not go through Washington.
It is easy to place all the blame on the current US administration, setting apart dodgy characters such as the President’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as the man who has single-handedly diminished any real chances for a just peace in Palestine and Israel.
