"Islamic extremism"

  In western countries, under the hard influence of America, a country in turn under the hard influence of the world’s best organized and financed lobby, the Israel Lobby, we have come to regard Israel’s behavior as normal, but it is, of course, not normal, not in any detail. What is normal about holding several million people prisoner for half a century?

 This exercise in fear mongering not only denigrates Muslim communities; it recklessly adds to an already hostile climate of Islamophobia in British society, where ordinary citizens are being targeting by racism and hate crimes.
 

The blind ignorance of Boko Haram and other extremist groups, who impose themselves on Islam, springs from an act of overinterpretaion, a wrong reading of religion. Regardless of what benefits the promoters of this parochial mentality may reap, there is one incontrovertible point: they are trying to deliver a blow to Islam. No doubt, they are the sworn enemies of religion and they pursue no objectives other than uprooting Islam.
