Syrian Army Steps-Up With Assault on Terrorist Enclave in Idlib, Final Offensive Nears


BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:10 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has stepped up their attacks in the Idlib Governorate this week after the alleged expiration of the nearly two-week-long ceasefire.
Led by the 5th Corps and Republican Guard, the Syrian military launched several missile strikes on the militant positions in Idlib, targeting their defenses in a number of towns in the southern and western parts of the governorate.
