DAMASCUS – On March 16, U.S. military aircraft bombed a location southwest of al-Jinah, a small village in Syria’s city of Aleppo. The U.S. military has maintained that it was targeting a meeting of al-Qaeda members in a partially-built community hall.

Report: Israel Blocks Human Rights Workers From Gaza

Human rights workers documenting abuses and advocating an end to them have been barred by the Israeli military authorities from entering and leaving the Gaza Strip, Human Rights Watch said in a report released on Monday.

Israel Halts Entry Visas For Human Rights Watch

(REPORT) — Israel will stop issuing work visas to Human Rights Watch staff, the NGO said on Friday, as Israeli ministries accused the group of being “fundamentally biased” against the state.
The New York-based watchdog, which has written critical reports about the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, applied months ago for a visa for its Israel and Palestine director, US citizen Omar Shakir.

Human Rights Watch: Chemical Weapons Being Used in Syria

(ANTIMEDIA) Human Rights Watch (HRW) has said Syrian government forces conducted coordinated chemical attacks in opposition-controlled parts of Aleppo during the final month of the battle for the city last year. HRW came to its conclusion through phone and in-person interviews with witnesses and analysis of video footage, photographs, and posts on social media.
