Yemen: Fake ‘News’ That’s Mixed Into America’s Mainstream News – And Why

On Friday, August 10th, CNN headlined “Saudi-led strike kills dozens of children on school field trip in Yemen” and reported as if the United States doesn’t have any important role to play in targeting and supplying the bombs and missiles for what the news-report refers to as “the Saudi-led coalition.” It even says at 0:15 in the video, “Saudi Arabia, through air strikes, leads the coalition, including the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, and Sudan” and doesn’t even mention there the main party, other than the royal Saud

Iran rejects Trump’s offer for talks

The Iranian government has rejected US President Trump’s offer to talk without preconditions, and it’s based on Trump’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear non proliferation agreement termed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The Houthis, on the other hand, want to use issue in order to push for a peace agreement.

We then explore how the so called Arab Spring played out in Yemen. We discuss the orchestrated nature of the movement, and how is sought to control the very real desires of the Yemeni public.

Yemen’s Houthis Strike Back Amid Saudi-led Bombardment of Hodeida

HODEIDA, YEMEN — Human rights organizations say the ongoing Saudi-led coalition attack on Hodeida threatens to cut the lifeline to millions of Yemenis, putting up to 18 million civilians at risk. Signs of a nascent humanitarian crisis are already clear amid an acute shortage of vital supplies in Hodeida and surrounding provinces as a result of this attack.
