The Israeli decision to bulldoze a newly built COVID-19 field hospital and testing center in Hebron in the West Bank yesterday has been roundly condemned by activists, rights groups and organizers. “Because demolishing a COVID-19 testing center is totally the best way for Israel to be spending funds right now,” wrote female-led antiwar group CODEPINK, “Seriously, this obsession with destroying Palestine, even at the expense of Israeli coronavirus funding, is sick.”
The U.S.-backed Saudi coalition in Yemen carried out another disturbing war crime against civilians. A series of airstrikes killed at least 55 civilians and injured over 170 more at a busy fish market and hospital. According to Yemen’s Health Ministry, the victims included nine children.

British counterterrorism police in Amesbury are investigating a new incident of possible poisoning. A man and a woman were found unconscious at a home on Saturday, causes unknown.
This incident took place only about eight miles from the town of Salisbury, where Sergey and Yulia Skripal were poisoned on March 4, allegedly by a “Novichok” type of nerve agent.
