Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced she will no longer enforce Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Covid restrictions after the state's Supreme Court ruled that Whitmer illegally seized authority from a 1945 law in order to extend the lockdown beyond April 30.
In Placer County's resolution, the supervisors wrote that most deaths are “not by COVID but with COVID,” arguing that California is exaggerating the death toll of the virus by including people with underlying health complications.
