Maybe you read the NY Times editorial over the weekend, The War Over Health Care Exchanges.

Obamacare was a flawed, compromised "solution" from day one, based on a mediocre conservative set of ideas that were meant to prevent the passage of a single payer system (Medicare for All) by progressives. At best, people see the benefits, overlook the flaws and are coming to accept it, despite partisan GOP hysteria.

House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) knows he's safe from a serious challenge in the 2014 midterms, though he doesn't represent some blood-red Mississippi or Utah congressional district. MI-04, in fact, went for then-Senator Obama in 2008, 50-49%.

Although many Republicans still frown on outright theft-- obviously not all, or Darrell Issa wouldn't still be winning elections-- profiting from the commons is considered a plus in their world of driven greed and selfishness.

Last year Obama beat Romney in New Jersey 2,117,175 (58%) to 1,472,709 (41%). In 2008 he had beaten McCain with 57%. Yesterday Obama supporters in the Beltway media were touting how the Republican plans to sabotage the Affordable Care Act could well backfire on GOP governors and legislators who are obstructing it.
