April Fools’ is now a year long event

In many parts of the world, the First of April is ‘April Fools’ Day’, a day of jokes, innocent white lies, hoaxes and humorous untruths.
Many newspapers and magazines used to participate in April Fools’ Day by publishing humorous, fake articles. For example one might have said,
–‘Moon landing faked in film studio admits cloned chimpanzee’
–‘Dutch Prime Minister resigns over spontaneous wildebeest stampede’
–‘I’m not actually dead, claims Augusto Pinochet’
–‘Russian plot exposed to elect famous billionaire US President as personal Putin puppet’

WikiLeaks: Proof CIA Disguises Their Hacks

(ZHEWikiLeaks’ latest Vault 7 release contains a batch of documents, named ‘Marble’, which detail CIA hacking tactics and how they can misdirect forensic investigators from attributing viruses, trojans and hacking attacks to their agency by inserted code fragments in foreign languages. The tool was in use as recently as 2016.  Per the WikiLeaks release:

Vladimir Putin has directly answered the big question. Appearing at a panel hosted by CNBC, Putin referenced the infamous George H.W. Bush line when he asked his audience to read his lips when promising no new taxes.
Putin’s assurance that Russia did not meddle in the US election will almost certainly not change the tune of those who think otherwise.

A challenge to anti-Russia US politicians

Even if the US Congress moves on from Russiagate, the mainstream media have invested so much time and human resources into a perennially anti-Russian spin on news stories, it remains unlikely that they’ll give up on their investment any time soon.
Senator Joseph McCarthy was in office between 1947 and his death ten years later. During much of that time, his primary function was to accuse various people in the media, military, government and entertainment industries of being subversive pro-Soviet Communists.
