The video up top is from 2010 and if you didn't know better you might think Ann Kirkpatrick is a Republican, especially when she starts repeating racist GOP talking points about immigration and criticizing Obama. Just before the 4 minute mark she starts her oft-repeated schpiel about the NRA. The DCCC is crushing the campaigns of local progressives Matt Heinz and Mary Matiela for this carpetbagging blood-soaked murderess who bragged about her longtime love affair with the NRA: Like protecting our rights, like our right to bear and keep arms.

CNN gave a “town hall” event on February 21st in response to the outrage of a great many students and parents over the February 14th massacre that ended the lives of 17 innocent students in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. But this town hall was tailored a bit.
CNN is a notably hard-left leaning cable television network. As such an ideological bent prevails there, it becomes rather difficult for the network to embrace truth when that truth does not agree with the ideology the network lives by and wishes to promote.

It is a nasty thing to get political about matters that involve the loss of life of children. The United States, and indeed, many people from the rest of the world who observed the news of the horrific school massacre in Florida not two weeks ago, all are shocked and horrified. Even for staunch supporters of the Second Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms, there seems to be something about this matter that has gotten attention in a way not seen in previous occurrences.

The school resource Deputy Sheriff never attempted to confront the shooter. Broward County Sheriffs Department is already being blamed for ignoring a warning from a neighbor's son on February 5 that Nikolas Cruz sent an Instagram stating that he "planned to shoot up the school on Instagram". The FBI also did not follow up on a warning that Cruz previously had said on social media that he planned to be a "professional school shooter".

Colton Haab, a student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and member of the Junior ROTC that shielded classmates during the shooting event, refused to participate in a CNN Town-Hall show because he was not allowed to ask his own questions an was given a 'scripted' question instead. Colton Haab says he wanted to suggest using armed veterans as school security guards, but CNN didn't like that solution. The town hall was stacked in favor of gun control, and the viewing public had no idea it was a rigged show.

Recognizing that 'gun-free-zone' schools are easy targets for shooters, President Trump has proposed arming about 20% of teachers with guns and paying them a small bonus. Instead of confiscating guns and implementing more gun regulations (which have never worked in the past), he proposes to encourage good guys to be ready, if necessary, to defend the students. [...]

Cameron Kasky, one of the students who survived the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School brought down the house at the CNN forum Wednesday night when he asked his senator, Marco Rubio, if he would stop taking NRA money. Rubio-- like every single blood-soaked member of Congress from either party who takes NRA bribes and votes for their sick, murderous agenda, said that the NRA buys into his agenda, not that he buys into theirs. Maybe Rubio even believes that. But the kids didn't. They boo-ed him loudly and repeatedly. Rubio's not up for reelection again until 2022.
