Censorship in the West flourishes as tech giants turn social media back into traditional programmed media.
The United States, United Kingdom and the European Union are fond of passing judgement on nations around the globe regarding “free speech.”
Many people believe that social media can be a positive force for good in the world, but we must be careful how we use it. But is there a deeper truth in this technological paradox? Is there an existential crisis brewing below the surface of 21st century society and culture?
They say there are only two certainties in America – death and taxes. You can add a third item to that list: that Democrats will forever be upset about the 2016 Election result. Such is the level of their angst that they have dedicated every ounce of political capital for the last four years towards reversing that result and ousting President Donald Trump from the White House.
If you find yourself wondering what the hell is going on right now – the “Why is the world turning to shit?” thought – you may find Netflix’s new documentary The Social Dilemma a good starting point for clarifying your thinking. I say “starting point” because, as we shall see, the film suffers from two major limitations: one in its analysis and the other in its conclusion.

I want to talk about the Julie Oliver ad because Google removed it and told us it violates their "shocking content" policy. They didn't tell us which part of the ad violates the policy.
