Not only is it possible that the US Food and Drug Administration’s approval of AquaBounty’s GM salmon will harm the environment, Alaska fishermen are concerned the GM fish could tank the fishing industry.

Don’t let PepsiCo, the owner of Frito-Lay, get away with selling this processed food meant for the garbage bin.
The martial artist and action star, Chuck Norris, noted for his role in films like Return of the Dragon, and the television series, Walker, Texas Ranger, is taking his action to a whole new level with recent commentary on the FDA’s approval of GM salmon. He says he certainly won’t be eating the GM fish.
Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders recently did an interview with CBS revolving around agriculture. Sanders has not yet elaborated on his claims, but he reportedly attests that a scheduled interview with CBS was cancelled because “Monsanto threatened to sue” the network.
During a town hall meeting, a citizen asked Sanders what he thought of GMOs and Monsanto. Sanders reportedly says:

In the US we are still swimming from the FDA’s approval of GM salmon, while across the world, member states of the EU, Hungary, and Austria team up to make sure genetically modified food isn’t getting into their countries.

The Senator joined consumer groups who voiced concern on Capitol Hill last week, stating:
“I believe strongly that the consumers have a right to know.”
