China BLASTS ‘American Arrogance.’ Calls US attack against Syria a false flag

In a front-page OpEd on the Chinese state-owned Global Times, China slams Trump’s involvement in Syria…

“The facts cannot be distorted. This military strike was not authorized by the UN, and the strikes targeted a legal government of a UN member state… it has not been confirmed if the chemical weapons attack happened or if it did, whether government forces or opposition forces launched it. International organizations have not carried out any authoritative investigation.”

Vladimir Putin, China condemn US Syrian strike: call it “cynical” and “act of aggression”

The Russian and Chinese governments have issued forthright statements condemning the US military strike on Syria.  They have done so moreover in nearly identical terms.
The Russian criticism of the US air strike is set out in an official statement of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.  I reproduce the text in full

Furious China ramps up support for Russia on Skripal, calls West’s actions “outrageous”

Global Times – unofficial English language organ of China’s ruling Communist Party – has published a scorching editorial savaging the West’s bullying of Russia over the Skripal case.
The editorial notes the West’s disregard of basic courtesies and of due process, and warns that other countries – including implicitly China – may one day find themselves in the same crosshairs for this sort of attack.

China applauds Putin’s win, backs Russia on Skripal case, hails China’s ‘strategic partnership’ with Russia

President Putin’s massive election victory and the fallout from the Skripal case have provided Global Times – an English language newspaper published under the auspices of the People’s Daily, the official organ of China’s Communist Party, and therefore reflecting the views of China’s leadership – with the opportunity to give Russia strong backing as it comes under renewed Western pressure.

China calls US bluff on North Korea – again

The North Korean crisis took a further twist on Monday with a significant climbdown by the US at the UN Security Council and a further diplomatic victory by China.
This is not being widely reported in the West though some sections of the Western media have  reported that the final draft of the Resolution that was voted on by the UN Security Council was ‘watered down’ by comparison with an earlier draft of the Resolution presented to the UN Security Council by the US because of Chinese and Russian pressure.

China might start a ‘limited war’ with India

According to an article published in China’s state newspaper Global Times, China is preparing to start a ‘limited war’ in order to drive the Indian soldiers out of the troubled Doklam region.
There has been a strain in relationship between China and India since June when the Indian soldiers entered Doklam area which is situated in the middle of Bhutan and China. The Indian soldiers stopped the Chinese soldiers from building a road in that region.
