Fed slashes key interest rates to 0%, announces $700 billion QE program, and dollar-swap plan to address coronavirus panic

Another combatant in this most recent oil war... Why a race to the bottom? Knocking shale out of the game? Aiding Iran in circumventing sanctions? Weakening Saudi Arabia? Weakening the US? Russia flexing it's oil muscle?Why? And, why now?  Isn't the over hyped corona virus doing enough global financial damage?  Banks and oil companies walk hand in hand.

As the global markets feel the tremors this week from the coronavirus and the announcement of a major drop in oil prices, some U.S. producers are now having to tighten their belts. Will they survive the oil global glut?

This morning Americans woke up to a new socio-economic reality, as the government along with other leading corporate institutions, implemented extreme emergency measures to try and mitigate the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

It’s not difficult to see exactly how governments and selected corporations are using the threat of pandemic to lock-down various aspects of society and force the public into accepting various restrictions and medical protocols. Will the current crisis be used to institute mandatory vaccinations? What other new control measures will be implemented?

  Won’t be to far down the road before some of us will be reading about the disastrous affects of this, for profit and believe me this is a for profit only venture. Despite the ‘green’ spin, this is about profit, control and control for profit. And NOTHING else.Round up contaminated everything and it wasn’t supposed to.. Creating superweeds galore.... but believe the company looking to make massive profits when they state this "self limiting moth"  is hunky dory & environmentally friendly.

The 'shit's gonna hit the fan' (The point at which "the shit hits the fan" is the point at which an already unstable situation devolves into utter chaos, often in spite of--or even due to--a higher authority's attempt to control it.

The sanctions appear to be extensive.
