Election Interference

Attorney Sidney Powell, who acted as co-counsel for former President Donald Trump and was charged with RICO violations, pleaded guilty to six misdemeanor counts in the Georgia 2020 election interference case. She has agreed to testify against her co-defendants to avoid jail time.

Trump is being charged with criminal offenses when the classified document dispute falls under the Presidential Records Act, which is a civil issue. The charges are meant to exhaust and overwhelm Trump and his supporters in order to affect the 2024 election.
