The Intercept and other sources reported that Wikileaks’ Julian Assange must eventually leave the Ecuadoran embassy in London. This is the statement given by Ecuadoran president Lenin Moreno.

The Criminal Court of the National Court of Justice of Ecuador announced Monday that they were refusing Correa’s appeal of a ‘preventive detention order’ processed at the beginning of the month. Former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa is being accused of participating in a failed kidnapping attempt of an opposition leader, Fernando Balda, back in 2012.
The US and its puppet states have been on a mission to apprehend Julian Assange over his revelations of various state secrets, which was by and large the reason why he sought asylum from Ecuador inside its London embassy.
Since Julian Assange is now an Ecuadorian citizen, President Moreno must protest his rights, says Alfred de Zayas, former UN independent expert on the promotion of a democratic and equitable international order.

For a man who has already been confined to the embassy for so long, these restrictions are particularly harsh.
