Right now, Blue America has a mobile billboard riding up and down the highways of two adjacent California congressional districts, CA-22 and CA-16, both centered in the Fresno area. Those are Devin Nunes' and Jim Costa's districts, the first a corrupt reactionary Republican and the second a corrupt reactionary Blue Dog Democrat.

Thursday, most Senate Republican took a stand against the dangerous psychotic in the Oval Office, joining all but a handful of the most progressive Democrats to rebuke his foreign policy framework. Ted Cruz (R-TX), John Kennedy (R-LA), and Mike Lee (R-UT) were the only Republicans who stuck with Trump.The specific measure declared that the Islamic State and al-Qaeda remain serious threats in Syria and Afghanistan, contradicting Trump's self-serving and entirely delusional statements and his justification for withdrawing troops from both countries.

That tweet up top with a picture of the truck was sent by Rory Appleton, a political reporter for the Fresno Bee, the most read newspaper in both Nunes' and Costa's districts, respectively CA-22 and CA-16. Both members are extremely conservative, though Nunes is a Republican and Costa is a Blue Dog Democrat.

This blog hasn't exactly been Andrew Janz campaign headquarters. He's way too conservative for us and I can't see him being a good member of Congress... no matter how hard I try. And I do try. He's running against-- arguably-- the worst member of Congress, worse than just a Trump rubber stamp; Devin Nunes has been an active participant in Trump's machinations and criminal behavior from the campaign right up 'til now.

Towards the end of August there was a stir in the Central Valley when a judge ruled that two GOP congressmen, Jeff Denham and Devin Nunes could call themselves "farmer" on the ballot.

He has a pretty safe Republican seat in the Central Valley. Obama lost the district both times he ran, with around 42% of the vote. Hillary lost to Trump two years ago with around 42% of the vote. The PVI is R+8... not impossible in a wave year, but a very steep climb.

Andrew Janz hasn't exactly been one of my favorite candidates this cycle. I spoke with him early in the cycle and he admitted to me that he's really conservative. Some DC consultants have since polished him up a bit and taught him how to talk to Democrats-- and not to talk to people like me.
