‘Herd Immunity’ Is a Failed Response to Coronavirus

Denmark and Sweden are often compared regarding their handling of coronavirus-19 because the two Scandinavian countries are similar to one-another in many ways but took very different approaches to dealing with the coronavirus challenge. Whereas Sweden took a libertarian approach (meaning minimal regulations) and aimed to develop a ‘herd immunity’ to the disease, Denmark took the opposite path and imposed social-distancing measures, mask-wearing, and more.

There is no science - and increasingly little rational discussion - to justify the lockdown measures and overall sense of global panic. Never-the-less, it's always good to get official acknowledgment of the truth, even if it has to be leaked. It now appears that after rejecting a lockdown strategy, Sweden may be changing course towards a more strict policy as Covid-19 cases are seeing a steep rise, especially in comparison to neighbor Denmark, which will be slowly easing lockdown restrictions next week.

Their woke statement was that everything Scandinavian has simply been "borrowed."
