As we pulled into the gates of the REAL Syria Civil Defence in Damascus, 200 meters from the Ein Tarma frontlines in the eastern suburbs of Damascus, the battle raged. 

CONFIRMED: 7 ceasefire violations in Syria over past 24 hours – Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – “Within the past 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 7 cases of firing in provinces of Aleppo (3), Damascus (3) and Latakia (1). The Turkish party has registered 6 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Damascus (4) and Hama (2),” the Ministry said in a daily bulletin.
According to the Ministry, most cases of non selective firing from small arms were registered in the areas controlled by the terrorists of the Islamic State and Nusra Front (both outlawed in Russia).

Putin Cements 50-Year Military Presence in Syria with Russian Air Base Deal

(MEE) — Vladimir Putin has signed a law ratifying a deal with the Syrian government allowing Russia to keep its air base in Syria for almost half a century, official documents show.
The original deal, signed in Damascus in January, sets out the terms under which Russia can use its Hmeimim air base in Lattakia Province which it has used to carry out air strikes against forces opposing President Bashar al-Assad.

Video from RT Arabic has shown that Russian journalists helped administer battle-line medical aid to wounded soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army who were hurt during intense fighting with terrorists in the Jobar district of Damascus.
The footage shows men whose job was to cover the conflict putting humanity before all else.

DAMASCUS: 2 attacks–1 real and 1 fake

Two events have surreally coincided today in different parts of Damascus.
First there was a fake chemical attack in Eastern Ghouta and shortly thereafter an all too tragic and an all too real treble suicide bombing attack.
Two of the suicide bombers detonated their cars which were loaded with bombs near the Airport Roundabout in Eastern Damascus while a third was able to make it to a downtown area where he set off his bomb.

CONFIRMED: Syrian Arab Army takes control of Jordanian border

Fierce fighting with ISIS and US backed jihadists in southern Syria has been ongoing for months. In June, two convoys of Syrian and allied soldiers came under fire from US forces illegally operating in the desert areas of southern Syria near the borders with Iraq and Jordan.
Today, the Russian General Staff announced that Syrian forces are now in full control of 105 kilometres of the border with Jordan. Jordan which for decades has been hostile to Syria has been an important passage for terrorists and illegal armed forces entering Syria.

BREAKING: Syrian Arab Army makes big gains against US backed jihadists

The Syrian Arab Army has not ceased its fighting against jihadists in southern Syria in spite of coming under attack from US forces earlier this week.
Syrian forces have just recaptured the strategically important Dakwah hilltop located 60 kilometres outside of Damascus from FSA terrorists who themselves recently took the hill from ISIS.
This comes as Syrian Arab Army troops yesterday captured Tal al-Abd hill top in the desert regions outside of Damascus in the south of the country.

Suspected US coalition air strike kills dozens in Syria – report

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that a number of refugees were killed during the air raid allegedly carried out by US-led coalition forces in a Syrian town near the Iraqi border [Xinhua]
The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) says the death toll from a suspected US-led coalition air strike near the Iraqi border has risen to 42 and will likely continue to rise.
On Tuesday, SOHR said that 11 children and 6 women were among the fatalities in the border town of Al Bokamal.
It said the fatality list included at least 14 Iraqi refugees.
