US propaganda machine kicks in as Donald Trump congratulates Vladimir Putin on election victory

As far as the news media go, President Donald Trump will never get it right. Tuesday, the criticism among some not-so-hallowed halls of news media was that he had not congratulated President Putin on his re-election victory, secured Sunday evening in a truly landslide victory – nearly 77% of the vote!
Now, of course, much of this criticism came from Russian sources, and given the present climate of really lousy diplomatic rhetoric, it is understandable that there would be a bit of disturbance about this.

It still goes without saying that the United States has been the leader of technologically innovated military hardware. The Russian Federation has recently surpassed it in the very important matter of hypersonic weapons, but the US has had the best and most advanced aircraft in the skies for many years now.
Except that there is a problem.

Congress Prepares to Vote on Bill That Would Speed up Drug Approval

Congress will vote today on a nearly 1,000-page bill that holds drastic changes for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). If the bill is approved, it would speed up the approval of new drugs and medical devices. The House has been heavily criticized for allegedly rushing piece of legislation through without sufficient scrutiny. [1]

Germany Silences Erdogan Critics to Build New Air Force Base in Turkey

All of the recent, worrying attacks on free speech in Germany are starting to make sense.
It has just been announced that the German Air Force is set to start work on a $65 million project to establish a new military air base at Turkey’s Incirlik air base. It is set to be finished by Summer 2017.
