Life in Sweden During the Coronavirus ‘Pandemic’

This is a brief look at what life in Sweden has been like during the Coronavirus ‘pandemic’. Unlike Europe, the UK and the US, Sweden did not opt to ‘Lockdown’ and voluntarily push its economy and society into a downward spiral. Hence, life in this Scandinavian country has remained relatively normal, with only a few common sense safety measures put in place to mitigate concerns regarding COVID-19. You’ll see restaurants, bars, gyms and parks – all open and being used much the same way as in ‘normal’ times.

Looting, Rioting Mobs Further Delay Post-Lockdown Economic Recovery

Just as the US economy was beginning to reemerge after ten weeks of COVID-19 lockdown across the country, the recent spate of protests, now retailers and restaurants across the country have had to close their doors again for fear of rioting mobs.
With most of country still under ‘lockdown’ orders or just coming out their shutdown – the people were primed for an exposition on the streets.

Japan Success, But With Strings Attached Going Forward

This week Japan declared and end to its seven week state of emergency in the battle against against COVID-19.
and it triumphed by following its own playbook.
With a population of 126 million, Japan only recorded some 16, 651 infections and 858 deaths.

A prominent Oxford epidemiologist has reportedly called for a more rapid exit from Britain’s lockdown, saying the coronavirus pandemic is “on its way out” of Britain after infecting as much as half the population.
Professor Sunetra Gupta says there would be a “strong possibility” that pubs, nightclubs and restaurants in Britain could reopen without serious risk from Covid-19.
