The Trump Administration going after Julian Assange is starting to raise concern even with establishment news outlets that have spent years hating on Wikileaks and Assange.
It appears, on the surface, that mainstream media is waking up to the fact that after Jeff Sessions takes down Assange, they are next in line.

BREAKING: US ready to formally press charges against Julian Assange

Anonymous sources have told CNN that the United States Federal government plans to formally press charges against Julian Assange and ask for his arrest.
Because Julian Assange is not a US citizen, Trump appointed CIA director Mike Pompeo has said,

“Julian Assange has no First Amendment freedoms. He’s sitting in an Embassy in London. He’s not a US citizen”.

CNN calls massive car bombing that killed 126 Syrians a “Hiccup” (Video)

At least 126 people, including 68 children, were killed and dozens of others sustained injuries on bus attack which happened this last Saturday.
Little media attention has been given to the horrific attack which saw a bomber blow up an explosive-laden car, ripping through multiple buses carrying evacuees from Kefraya and Foua villages in Idlib, as they were waiting in al-Rashidin district to enter the city of Aleppo.

Former US Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders appeared on on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper, to clarify his foreign policy stance, after a busy week of intervention from the Trump White House.
Senator Sanders was clear, stating that the US must not get involved in “perpetual warfare in the Middle East,” explaining to CNN that the key to removing Syrian President Assad was to forgo unilateral action, and instead work to convince Russia and Iran to withdraw their support for the Syrian leader.

Facebook’s new guide to spotting fake news

Facebook has been spamming  alerting users about how to spot fake news or ‘false news’ as they call it. It’s an insult to most people’s intelligence, but for the sake up absolute clarity, I thought I’d go through each ‘helpful’ tip one step at a time.
Here they are along with my own advice on what it means.
1. Be sceptical of headlines:
False news stories often have catch headlines in all caps with exclamation points. If shocking claims in the headlines sound unbelievable they probably are.
Yes some headlines are very misleading.
