One of the hottest news stories in the American press has been that over the border wall, proposed by President Trump during his campaign, and now resting at the center of a debate that has about one-quarter of the US governmental services in a state of shutdown. We have observed fiery, passionate, and even disgusting levels of rancor and bitterness in the political rhetoric concerning the wall. This debate goes on in the news media, and many of the Americans who watch and listen to this take on the fire of these arguments to even more passionate levels.

On December 21st, a partial federal shutdown began, openly owned by President Trump. The reaction from many Americans, including those affected by the shutdown, is very supportive of this action. A large group of Americans, Trump supporters of course, really want the border wall. The Democrats response? Well, Nancy Pelosi went to Hawaii for vacation, and the Congress shows no urgency towards meeting to solve this problem.

In his war against humanity, Señor Trumpanzee took some fire yesterday from his own side. On Fox and Fiends a neo-Nazi pundit, Michelle Malkin, who is known on the far right fringes, said "Well, I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I’m not going to spin it. I wish I could but I can’t. This is a cave. This was a blink." She was talking about Trump backing down from shutting the government after he was told he isn't getting any money for the wall the American Nazis want to build.

Tepid, establishment Democrats-- especially corporately financed ones like Chuck Schumer-- are still too cowardly to grab the healthcare bull by the horns, look it directly in the eyes and say "now's the time." Although 124 House Democrats are co-sponsoring Medicare-For-All and although the public overwhelmingly backs it,

Democrats are against the wall because the left gains votes from immigrants. There are an estimated 22-million illegal aliens in the US, and Republican politicians also welcome immigrants because they provide cheap labor for their corporate donors.

Does this seem cruel? Perhaps, but not nearly as cruel as what three credible witnesses have now alleged. Are there even more crimes in the wings? In cases like these, there are almost always more more crimes.
