A friend of mine who has never owned one before, bought one, a shotgun. Are people worried marauders looking for pasta and toilet paper could be a danger to their families? Another exception-- primarily, but not exclusively, in Southern states-- is even crazier: churches.

Yesterday, the Washington Post published another piece on the deadly dysfunction the Trump Regime has brought to the pandemic response.

It's bad in New York right now-- at least in part because of Andrew Cuomo's reactionary stance on healthcare. (Gee, if you watched Rachel Maddow, a thorough imbecile on anything out than Putin-Gate, you would have thought Cuomo is a national hero who should be the Democratic nominee, but... she lives in Boston so... yeah.) Anyway, Cuomo is a skillful politician with a knack for doing what American politicians must be able to do to survive-- making himself look good on TV.

Bubbles arise when asset prices inflate above what underlying incomes can sustain. Centuries ago, the Dutch woke up one morning and discovered that tulips were simply just flowers after all. But today, the public has yet to wake up to the mathematical reality that over $200 trillion in debt and perhaps another $500 trillion of un(der)funded liabilities really cannot ever be paid back under current terms. However, this fact is dawning within the minds of more and more critical thinkers with each passing day.

With the western propaganda flying thick and heavy, it's more important than ever to cut through the chaff and learn what we can about the most important geopolitical realignment (and renewed tensions) in recent memory.
