China to back UNSC’s North Korea resolution
North Korea previously conducted three nuclear tests: in 2006, in 2009 and in 2013. In response, the United Nations Security Council imposed various sanctions on Pyongyang [Xinhua]Angered by North Korea’s latest nuclear test, China on Friday said it will support the UN Security Council resolution on renewed tensions.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said the focus of the UNSC must be on “denuclearization”.
